Scholarship for Aspiring Cardiothoracic Surgeons The Looking to the Future Scholarship is designed for general surgery residents within the United States and Canada to attend the STS 46th Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The scholarship seeks to identify and encourage general surgery residents who are considering but are not yet committed to a career in cardiothoracic surgery. Scholarships cover registration fees for the STS Annual Meeting, up to three nights at an STS-designated hotel, and reimbursement of up to $500 in related travel expenses. Scholarship awardees will also have the opportunity to participate in STS/AATS Tech-Con at no cost.
